Pawan Kalyan dislikes Sampath Nandi's script

Power Star Pawan Kalyan's proposed film under the direction of young director Sampath Nandi was shelved, as the star did not give a final 'GO' signal to the project as he did not like the script. According to sources, NTV CEO Sharat Maror was supposed to produce the film.

Sampath Nandi earlier directed two films Yemaindi Ee Vela and Racha. When Sampath approached Pawan Kalyan for this film, Pawan initially agreed to work with him and asked him to come up with the full script. Accordingly, the director recently met the actor with the script, but Pawan disliked the script.

Pawan - Trivikram Movie Launch date-On Nov 23

Power Star Pawan Kalyan who is in super form with Gabbar Singh and Cameraman Ganga Tho Rambabu will soon start working for his next film, which will be directed by Trivikram Srinivas. B V S N Prasad produces this film on Venkateswara Cine chitra banner.

Pawan Kalyan will be playing a youthful role in this untitled film that will be launched on November 23 and regular shoot will commence from December. As per the buzz, 'Sarada' and Hare Rama Hare Krishna are the titles under consideration for this movie. Nothing has been confirmed yet. Samantha might play the female lead in it.

Trivikram is also in the form with the recent success 'Julayi' and Pawan was impressed with the story line of Trivikram and agreed to star in this film. More details will be announced soon.

Pavan Kalyan remuneration 12 crores

Ambitious producer B V N N Prasad alias “Chatrapathi” Prasad, who had earlier burnt his fingers by making the so-called master piece “Devudu Chesina Manusulu” and is now on the way to complete “Ongole Giththa” with young hero Ram, has started making preparations to produce a film with the combination of power-star Pavan Kalyan and ace director Trivikram Srinivas.

Grapevine has it that Prasad is paying record remuneration of a whopping Rs 14 crore to Pavan Kalyan for this film; and this has become a talking point in the film circles. And one doubts whether Trivikram Srinivas would remain silent, if he is not given at least half of this amount as his remuneration. He would definitely take it up with the producer in his own style, as lesser remuneration would amount to insulting an artiste like him.

If Prasad agrees for this remuneration, he would be spending Rs 21 crore just on these two artistes – Pavan Kalyan and Trivikram Srinivas. One wonders how much he would pay for others and what would be the overall budget of the film. If such a huge money of Reliance group is spent on paying remunerations, god only can save the Telugu film industry!

Pawan Kalyan's Black And White Passion

Power star Pawan Kalyan may well be a trendsetter at the box office and also in mannerisms and style but at heart he is very much the old fashioned and conventional guy. This can be seen with his interests and likes. The latest we hear is Pawan’s passion for yesteryear melodies and classics.

It is heard that Pawan loves black and white songs especially melodies. That is why, in his directorial venture ‘Johnny’ he had remix of the song ‘Ee reyi teeyanidhi…’. Similarly, in ‘Khushi…’ he had ‘Aadavari maatalaku ardhaalu verule…’ from the film ‘Missamma’. Now it is heard that he is looking for few words from the old times.

Apparently, he wants to use that as a title which will resemble old films. Circles close to Pawan reveal he is busy breaking his head to coin that one name which can suit the title of his new movie but at the same time remind the Telugu audience of its classic nature and essence of tradition and culture.
