The true art of a politician can be seen when he can exploit a sensitive use for his political gains. That is something Lagadapati Rajagopal seems to be good at. After the ‘Rambabu’ ruckus, Rajagopal gave a long speech and it was more like a political Dhamki.
He was mentioning things like “What is this? Nothing is there in the film. Unnecessarily they created ruckus. I am not going to keep quiet. No word of Telangana was taken.” Till here, it was fine but here is the twist. Rajagopal quipped “Yeah, they will keep saying Andhra banks should not be there, Andhra mess should be removed etc”.
By using such statements, unnecessarily he is attempting to indicate that this is an anti-Telangana film. All this is for Political Mileage. By showing that he is supporting he is creating trouble with controversial statements. Some are asking out of the blue why did he have this press meet?
"Sometime back he used RGV to take a dig at Y S Jagan. This happened during ‘Rakta Charitra’ time when he mentioned something like Jagan sending a warning SMS to RGV to remove certain scenes from the film. That way, anyone who is against YSRCP, TDP, Lagadapati will go there and sing their song", says an observer.
